Among the names given to Jesus in Isaiah 9:6 is also the title
EVERLASTING FATHER!
Everyone of us has a need for a father and Jesus came to satisfy
that deep need.
That longing you have in your heart can never be met by a human relationship;
it can be filled only by the Father.
 Jesus was born;the son was given to us to reveal the Father.
So God loves you and came to you in that first Christmas in His Son, Jesus...

We all face mountains in our life.
It can be for example your finances, your marriage or a sickness in your body...
But Jesus tells in Mark 11:23 what to do for your mountain:

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 
‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ 
and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen
it will be done for them.

Did you noticed that Jesus says:ANYONE!
That means you and I can speak to our mountains;
 we must proclaim God's word over our problems!
Sometimes the mountains seem to be so big and nothing happens 
but believe that what you say will happen!
When you speak and you do not doubt,
the mountain will be removed!
 
 
 


God's word is food for our souls! 
Memorize it.Confess it.
Let the words of the Bible enter into your mind and descend into your heart...
And let it transform your whole being!
 



Life doesn't  always go in the way we would like it to go...

But...the good news is that whatever you may be facing during your day
you can be sure that God will give you strength!
God gives strength for today,
and  hope for tomorrow.
God doesn’t give you hope for the needs of today,
but He gives you STRENGTH for your immediate needs.
And for your future needs God gives you HOPE.

Oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!
-Ephesians 1:19


I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
-Romans 15:13 NLT

Today in the United States it's Thanksgiving day so even if here in Italy we
don't celebrate it I want to take today some special time to tell God how
thankful I am.
God's love and care for us are amazing things and I could not live without Him
-so yes I am so thankful to be His daughter! 
 Yet I would like to be even more thankful...that I would always see positive and good
things in every situation as Paul did:

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
-Philippians 4:11-12

So the secret is to learn to live how to be thankful- whether empty or full!
And I rejoice because I know that even when I feel empty, My heavenly Father fill me with His comfort!


Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.
-1 Chronicles 16:34 

So...Happy Thanksgiving day!

  Today I want to share with you 3 different Bible verses that have been speaken
to me the past few days.

Thank you God that you fill me!

Thank you God that you take care of me and my needs!

  
Thank you God that you counsel and instruct me!
  


This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
-1 John 5:14-15

The other day my son came back from the school telling me that his backpack's zipper
had been broken while he walked back home and at the same moment he
took the backpack off everything fell on the floor. But we didn't notice at that moment that his pencil case was lacking.And it was only after 3 hours when he started to do his homework and noticed that 
it was lacking.
We were very disappointed that the pencil case was lacking and I got a bit angry too...
But then I told my son:"listen we'll pray and then we'll go out to look for your pencil case!"
So we prayed a simple prayer but I was sure God would help us!
We walked the whole way back to my son's school but we couldn't find it...But
at one point on the road we met my son's classmate with his sister. We said ciao and 
I just explained them that we were looking for my son's pencil case. That's all and
we continued our way back home.
I know that loosing a pencil case wasn't that serious but God showed something wonderful
through this story...
The day after my son got a text message from his classmate's sister who we saw on the
street the other day while looking for the pencil case and she told him that she had 
found the pencil case on the street next to her home! The pencil case hadn't my son's name on it 
so it wasn't just a coincidence that I had told to these other kids about my son's lost pencil case but 
it was really God helping us!
Ah we were so happy! And this was just a wonderful thing so I could
tell my son that God listens us no matter we tell Him.It hasn't have to be big; God is interested in every detail in your life!And He answers always,but He does it on His time and on His way!


I hope my son learned through this story that God really listen to us and He cares about us!
But it is also a good reminder for all of us, because the prayer is powerful and it helps
us find strength for today and hope for the future.

 

Last week I had an opportunity to visit my family in Finland with my son.
We stayed only few days but during those days I wanted to see my parents
and three sisters living in 3 different cities-and we managed to do it!


Thankful that my son could play with his cousins (they see each other once a year!)
- and I could hug my sister and
nieces!

 Then to an other city to visit my parents and my oldest sister.
Lovely moments.So thankful.

And our final stop...
Thankful for seeing also my third sister and her family.

Precious moments with the family!

Please remember that when discouragement comes reject it and do like David did.
He encouraged himself in the Lord. So take some time and talk to God-tell him about your problems.And then talk to yourself!Say aloud the promises God has
made for you!

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. 
I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance.
-John 10:10 

 
God wants you to enjoy your life every day and you can do it no matter how your
circumstances are. So rejoice and enjoy your life and live it passionately!
Make a list of all your blessings and discover your passions by looking back 
over your life for those moments where you've had "Yes!" experiences. String those
together, and you'll begin to see new possibilities for your life.

"Today I will make a difference. I will begin by controlling my thoughts. A person is the product of his thoughts. I want to be happy and hopeful. Therefore, I will have thoughts that are happy and hopeful. I refuse to be victimized by my circumstances. I will not let petty inconveniences such as stoplights, long lines, and traffic jams be my masters. I will avoid negativism and gossip. Optimism will be my companion, and victory will be my hallmark. It's nearly a month that I have been posting about how to encourage yourself
and today I'll encourage you to be an encourager. Why?Because there is nothing
better than making someone else happy!
And as you are not focused on your own problems you will notice that you will
now longer feel discouraged.

But encourage each other every day while it is “today.”

When we have the opportunity to help anyone, we should do it. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers. 
-Galatians 6:10 
So be committed to encourage others daily!Show them that you care about them!
Encouragement is the power that can affect the lives of people around you!
